Captured SunShow Screen Illustrating Visual Navigation
on Thumbnail Replica Images Created from Database Images

MAIN640.GIF is a large, screen-captured image of a MS-DOS image database application that is visually navigated with a mouse on thumbnail replicas of the image record. This screen is from the SHOWCASE Image Database (created with SunShow) that combines a scanned image, sound files, and animation with database textfields. The thumbnails may be optionally displayed by the end-user, 16-, 25-, or 36-thumbnails per screen, all mouse-selectable.

The "corridor.gif", also on this website, is an actual screen-captured Image Database Record created with SunShow functions combined with a database programming language. It was captured, by the way, with TSR screen-capture utilities supplied with SunShow Professional, V.3.1. This application, called SHOWCASE, supports 1 - 5 images per database record, sound files, and FLI/FLC animation files. The flatbed scanning, video capture, and sound recording is performed internally within the application. The corridor.gif image was scanned from a photograph with a Sharp JX-300 color flatbed scanner and the SunShow scanner driver, "GPIBSCAN.EXE".
